Anvil Agrinomics, LLC (AnvilAg) is a mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering design firm located in the heart of the United States. Although we have experience working in a number of different industries, our primary focus is controlled environments for indoor agriculture and manufacturing of infused products.

    Mechanical

    We have spent a great deal of time researching and learning how the energy balance in a cultivation space works. Knowing how temperature and humidity drive transpiration to deliver nutrients to plants is crucial. We aren’t designing and building systems for comfort cooling. We are developing life support systems for plants.

    Always looking for new innovation, AnvilAg has vast experience in designing innovative, alternative technologies for HVACD, indoor air quality, and water efficiency. What was once cutting edge technology has become the norm. We incorporate environmentally responsible design principles into all of our projects.

    Electrical

    When starting a project, one of the biggest obstacles we encounter is the electrical service. Cultivation and manufacturing spaces require a large amount of electricity to operate. We have developed skills to easily determine the services needed for theses spaces early in the project.

    We continuously look for solutions to provide adequate power to our projects. We work with local utilities to devise strategies for efficient use of power. In some cases, other renewable strategies are employed to supplement inadequate services.

    Plumbing

    Plumbing incorporates a variety of building systems that handle the delivery and removal of water and waste from the building. We work with local jurisdictions to determine whether leachate systems are needed, where waste water can be disposed, and how to supply the building with water.

    We work hand in hand with the fertigation consultants to devise solutions to efficiently prepare, deliver, remove, and replenish water for plant and manufacturing needs.
